Please read below for an idea of what specific photos we request for your online advertisement and or auction.  Please feel free to take many many more than we state.

We offer unlimited photo presentation of your vehicle and encourage a minimum of 25 photos or more. Be aware of good lighting, a nice atmosphere (not inside a barn with clutter or in a drive way with other cars to distract), and full coverage of the automobile. Perfect conditions for the photos would be outside under medium overcast skies, however we realize this is not always possible.  Below is a list of the photos that we prefer to have to properly list your vehicle:

Shots of the entire vehicle (at least four pictures)
~1 flat picture from the front
~1 flat picture from the rear
~1 flat picture of the right side
~1 flat picture of the left side

Corner/Quarter shots of the vehicle (at least four pictures)
~1 angled picture of the left front
~1 angled picture of the left rear
~1 angled picture of the right front
~1 angled picture of the right rear

Sculpted Lines and Trim Shots (at least two pictures)
*This allows the buyer to see how well the trim lines on the
doors align with those on the body. Take pictures of the vehicle as you gaze down the side to show how 'straight' the body panels are aligned.

~1 slightly angled picture of the left side from tail to nose looking down the sculpted lines of the vehicle.
~1 slightly angled picture of the right side from tail to nose looking down the sculpted lines of the vehicle.

The Doors (at least six pictures)
~1 close-up picture of left side door hinges
~1 close-up picture of left side door jams
~1 close-up picture of left side door sill/step plate
~1 close-up picture of right side door hinges
~1 close-up picture of right side door jams
~1 close-up picture of right side door sill/step plate

Interior shots of the vehicle (at least five)
~1 picture of the gauges and dials
~1 picture of the dashboard
~1 picture of the front seat
~1 picture of the rear seat if the vehicle has one
~1 picture of the carpet

Shots inside the Vehicle’s Trunk (at least one)
*Many will want to see the integrity and originality of the pan. Pull back the mat or carpet if it is present to show the condition of the metal underneath. Remember, we want to answer 95% of the questions within the auction.

Shots of the Engine Compartment
~1 picture of the front of the engine
~1 picture of each side of the engine
~1 picture of the firewall
~Several detail photos of the engine, the block, the valve covers, the power steering, power brakes, carburetor/injector, any Numbers that are on the block if you are claiming Numbers Matching.  Also, if your vehicle has air conditioning, take a close up of the air conditioning unit.

Underbody (at least four pictures preferably more)
Try to take photos of the floor pans, the trunk pan, the frame on all sides, the exhaust, the suspension etc...
*Taking four or five pictures each of the underbody and engine might suffice for a car being listed as an "every day driver". However, a car being verbally represented as "perfect", "mint", or "show car" status should really have 8-12 shots of the underbody. Certain makes and years also should have special attention paid to the underbody. Obviously, a Corvette will only show rust in select places.
